09.05.2011 - Africa Week 2011 (21 - 28 May)

Africa Week 2011 organised by the Afro-Community Support Organisation Northern Ireland (ACSONI) will take place in venues across Northern Ireland between 21 and 28 May 2011. Beyond Skin will be running various activities as part of the week through their networks, World Music NI, Homely Planet & Beyond Skin Global.

Activities include:

Global Jukebox' live music event featuring Reggae Artists, Rassie Ai and the Rydimz Platoon Reggae Band, The Rydimz Steel Band & Scream Blue Murmur
The launch of 'Akrowa' African Drum course and touring band auditions.
Youth Radio Workshops exploring African Culture in partnership with Children In Need. Contact info@beyondskin.net
