09.10.2009 - Got Idea For a Short Film?
Blank Slate is a UK wide digital short film scheme supporting the next generation of cutting edge, Black and Asian minority ethnic film making talent. It also acts as a springboard for some of the best talent to progress to features. Now in its 6th year, Blank Slate is part of the UK Film Council's New Cinema Fund Digital Shorts Scheme.
Blank Slate is coming to a showcase event at The Chinese Welfare Association, 1 Stranmillis Road, Belfast on Wednesday 14 October 6.30pm.
The programme will start with a screening of Granny's Ghost, a film by writer/director Lab Ky Mo shot in Belfast with a cast of locals, followed by a short introduction to the Blank Slate funding process and ending with informal drinks.
